NaturaVet is the first holistic veterinary practice in the Western region of the Algarve. Our integrative approach to veterinary medicine is designed to improve your pet’s health, prevent or minimize adverse drug effects, and improve the quality of life of your pet. Each pet is treated on an individual basis utilizing our wide-range of modern and alternative veterinary medicine techniques.
Our holistic approach allows us to begin our assessment and treatment of each pet from every angle, and we focus on each pet in his or her entirety. Our goal is to reduce, and hopefully eliminate, disease symptoms with limited to no side effects. We also provide outstanding service and education to our clients at all times while treating their pets.
DR. CLAUDIO SACCHI
Dr. Claudio Sacchi is a licensed veterinarian with a vast overseas experience. He has been working in various vet clinics in Brazil, United States, Germany, and Portugal. His main work areas have been emergency and critical care, as well as general clinic. In the 15 years of working as a vet he became more and more aware of the limitations of the western medicine approach in chronical diseases. Therefore he decided to be trained in Chinese medicine at the Xie institute of Europe. He was certified as an acupuncturist for animals in 2014 and since then successfully treated animals with acupuncture. He is part of ongoing training in the field of western and Chinese herbal therapy and always searching for the best treatment options for his clients.
ANNA KERCKHOFF
DE SACCHI
Anna Kerckhoff de Sacchi is working in cooperation with her husband Claudio utilizing the Chinese Quantum method (CQM). Anna trained to be a naturopath for animals in Germany and used this knowledge in her work with horses and her own pets. She is a natural horse trainer and coach.
